The former UN Documentation Centre of Potsdam University Library collected all work and conference reports of the six main organs of the United Nations (General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council, Trusteeship Council, Secretariat and International Court of Justice) since 1973. From 1995 to 2019 it was officially a UN Depository Library and part of the network of United Nations Depository Libraries. From 1995 to 2007 the Depository Library collected both the documents and the publications of the United Nations, since 2007 only the publications.
Since 2019, the documents and publications of the United Nations at Potsdam University Library can no longer be used in printed form, but only in digital form. The United Nations Digital Library provides access to UN documents and publications since 1979. The Official Document System of the UN offers access to documents since 1946, since 1993 additionally with full text search.
