Publish Books

Universitätsverlag Potsdam publishes scholarly open access books. We guide you through the entire publication process. Once your peer review process has been completed, the manuscripts undergo copy editing at the university press and the publication formats are produced. In addition to professional typesetting by external service providers, we use open source software  for single source publishing.

If the quality criteria are met, online publication in Diamond Open Access is free of charge. For (optional) printed books the costs for producing the initial print run will be invoiced.

Publications are often published in one of our established book series, for which discipline-specific peer review procedures and uniform manuscript guidelines are in place. If necessary, the university press provides support in establishing a new book series.
