Before you start an interlibrary loan, we strongly recommend to check the KOBV-Portal (catalogue of libraries in the Berlin-Brandenburg area) first. It is very likely that the book you are looking for is available at a library around the corner.
You have to be a registered user of the University Library and there must be sufficient credit on your interlibrary loan account. If you are not sure whether you have an account or not, please ask our colleagues at the information desks of the departmental library of your choice or get in touch with us directly.
Fees per order:
Units can be purchased at the information desks in the departmental libraries.
Your search in the University Library's OPAC was not successful.
User ID: 0517+library card number/matriculation number (e.g. 0517123456)
Password: date of birth using the format ddmmyy (e.g. 021165).
Upon your confirmation your order will be complete.
Successfully handled orders will arrive at your departmental library approximately within 8 to 10 days. After your order has arrived you will receive an email notification.
If the requested title could not be supplied, you will receive a negative response from the Interlibrary Loan Department. You can decide if your order should be followed up or not. This will entail no additional costs.
The loan period is defined by the lending library. Please make sure you return your book on time. Otherwise, additional charges will apply.
If a renewal of the loan is possible, this will have to be requested 3 days before the current loan period expires.
Please use our online form to extend the loan period.
