Exhibition in the foyer of the IKMZ: "Are you an eye-catcher? - Becoming visible together"

From mid-July to the beginning of October 2025, visitors to the IKMZ in Golm can discover a special exhibition: The focus is on inclusion and the experiences of people with disabilities, chronic and mental illnesses at the University of Potsdam.

An interactive roll-up exhibition presents not only relevant figures from the diversity audit, but also individual stories of students and employees who are confronted with challenges and hurdles in everyday university life. The exhibition is more than just a visual impression: it offers a deeper, emotional connection. With the help of QR codes, visitors can immerse themselves in accompanying podcast interviews and learn even more about the personal experiences of the people portrayed.

The exhibition invites you to rethink inclusion as a process of visibility and togetherness. Experience how stories and figures come together and have a lasting impact on our understanding of diversity. If you can't make it to the library, you can also listen to the podcasts here (the podcasts are in German, but there are transcripts in English) : https://www.uni-potsdam.de/en/inclusive-university/podcasts-we-are-up

The exhibition can be found in the foyer on the railway station side of the IKMZ in Golm.
